not bad

I didn't mind this. Though I was hoping for a whole differnt melody change and rythm change.

dude i know, cluster and pulsar are like teh same thing, i get liek no IDEAS when im making melodys, so i end up with beats on cp's,
lol i got new ideas for melodys now though
roflcopter,
thanks for review..

Wow...

I love it! I think the out-of-tuneness added to the reality of all this. I really liked this one. If you could find a "better" tuned piano, this would be gold... wait, it is, what am I talking about :P This is a really good song. And you're a great player! Keep it up. A softwarre version of this might be nice too. But a real recording goes sooo much farther any way, so no matter.

I found the link from RRC.

Bezman responds:

Heh. I pretty much stopped playing my piano it's so out of tune but you're right - you just don't get those marginally atonal notes with synthed stuff.

Wow - glad you like it so much. :-D

Stay funky!

alright!

Ya, ok! Perty good. Got repetetive to me though. But a good start. Keep it up.

jk This was good. I wish I had the latest flash so I could visit your site... *sigh* the sideaffects of dial-up and locked down school computers... hacking can be sooo useful at times when you know how... which I don't... oh ya, your song!

It was gerat! I loved it! Wish you'd stop the previews though,..... I never get to hear full versions now :( Oh well... Keep writing none the less :D

Nintechno responds:

I had to put maotre bass cuz people wouldnt shut up about how there wasnt enough, sorry man. Try playing through your school speakers during an assembly when your headmaster is talking, that should work.

Its a preview because the full version is up for sale online. check out "Alone" by F-777 for a link.

I really liked this

This was great! I so loved the way you made this. And the melodies! Ah! Makes me shiver listening to it1 It's got that feel it it! The music speaks life experience! THis is the best I've heard of this for a while... in this genre anyway. It's so soft, yet prominent! This diserves so much!

MrKilljoy responds:

maybe you are right that it is more industrial than misc. But i dont know any industrial songs so didnĀ“t know what it would be.

and thx for the 5 :D

WOW!

This is great! Even though it's your second song, I'd say you knew what you were doing. This is great! I love the guitar riffs man! Did you actually play them on a guitar or use a piano roll?

For a critiquing, a change in drum rhythm but keeping the same feel would be nice. You know, some variety rather than the same drum loop over and over.

Fav part was 1.32 or somewhere in there. Also, learn how to do volume Automation Clips. Just go to the help menu and type in Automation Clips. This will enhance your songs by leeps and bounds. Also, help fix problem with too loud of recorded guitar... All in all, a great song! Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still new to Fruity Loops, so I haven't learned all the features yet. This is kind of a concept song, so some of these melodies might pop up later. I was thinking about that drum beat, but I got so focused on the other parts, I just left it as one pattern for most of the song. And yes, I'm playing that guitar part live on a keyboard hooked into the computer. It took me around 15 tries to get it just right. Thanks again!

so awesome!

I don't care if it sounds like Fluctuations or not. I loved that one too. This truely is a Master Piece! I really liked the vocal at .50 It was great and totally added to it all! Makes me wish I had a mike at home... and I don't mean one of those stupid, small, computer mics... even though that will work I guess...

yeh i love the vocal too :) that buildup just NEEDED a vocal, so i searched for one and found a COME ON :D
Thx for the good vote! :D thx for the review :)
Bye!

good

I was expecting, for the battle part, some heavy booms and abrupt drum hits or something. Also some 'pirate battle' melody at that point too. Guess I was expecting something along the lines of POTC. My bad. I shouldn't presume like that. Kinda glad you didn't do it that way now :P

This is pretty epic, thinking of your desrciption while matching it to the music. It was great! I think there should be more piratie games on here. Those are fun :D

Tiredguy responds:

Awesome! Really glad to hear you enjoyed it so much, and I'm relieved to hear the orchestration works out for you. Thanks for the great review, and I'll be sure to return the favor.

I agree, more pirate games would be cool. :)

wow...

That takes 1337 to a whole new level :P Now computer "nerdz" are able to shred on on keyboard like a guitar player would! That's just so flumin' awesome! This I gotta try! Wonder if FL can do that....

adompeace responds:

Um, this was recorded and I spent forever making it sound professionally recorded :P. Glad you thought it was awesome! :)
